Pig residents

- Kevin Bacon -

- Kevin Bacon -

- Kevin Bacon -

He came to us with a different name, but we call him Kevin. Kevin was 7 living with a family that had split up and they no longer could keep him. He was our first rescue that taught us how amazing pigs are.

- Charlotte -

- Kevin Bacon -

- Kevin Bacon -

Charlotte was 6 months old when her family put her on Craigslist. They no longer had time for her even though they lived on a farm and their children loved her.

- Mr. Hankey -

- Kevin Bacon -

- Mr. Hankey -

He was in his 3rd home even though he was only 4 months old. He was being underfed with no access to outside. He was a very scared, confused piglet.

- Gertie -

- Gertie -

- Mr. Hankey -

Gertie was an island pig in the PNW. Sounds more exotic than it was. She was living in a very small pen with a duck and two goats with horns. They tortured her daily. She was overweight and lonely. She couldn’t wait to escape the pen and go with us.

- Coco -

- Gertie -

- Coco -

Coco Bean was an impulsive buy off Craigslist at Christmas. The family decided a month later when she was 12 weeks they wanted to get rid of her or else they would eat her in a few weeks. She was living with large dogs and not spayed which is a dangerous combination.

- Jefe -

- Gertie -

- Coco -

Jefe was found abandoned in Portland. He came to us loaded with parasites and unneutered. He is now neutered and healthy. Jefe AKA “The Boss” isn’t afraid of anything and has established himself as top hog. He has become best friends with Coco and are double trouble.

- El Guapo -

- El Guapo -

Guapo came to us after his first family relinquished him. Because of their living situation he was stuck in his crate in the basement for a year. He is now enjoying being able to come and go as he pleases.
